Why the Move

The relocation is driven by geographic and logistical advantages. Atlanta offers nearly 50 HBCUs within driving distance, a concentration unmatched by any other market, and is home to the Atlanta University Center (Morehouse, Spelman, Clark Atlanta, Morris Brown) plus numerous others in Georgia and nearby states Yahoo Sports+1. This proximity expands access to the nation’s largest HBCU career fair, which is a key part of the event’s programming www.blackcollegefootballhof.org.

Atlanta’s strong corporate presence, extensive HBCU alumni network, and world‑class event infrastructure make it an ideal hub for the game and its week‑long schedule, which includes career development, networking, and community engagement www.blackcollegefootballhof.org+1.
